JMac91
So.. my battery def cannot handle my system. my amp is ovn1-5500d the voltage meter dances hard core.. goes from full all the way down. and im sure the headlights dim now. Doesnt even sound louder than my older shittier system.. and my old sys didnt take a toll on the battery. But idk what battery to get. Didnt know theres so much technical stuff to getting a damn battery. So some help would be appreciated on pickin a battery to throw back by my subs. And will it make it way louder? I wasnt too impressed of the new system as a first impression. Supercharged DCs
I would like to know what your previous system was, you mention it sounding better than your new one. And can you please give us a budget to work with? Quote Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012. TeamHT
That's just retarded, money is an issue but you're not going to give a limit? How is anyone supposed to know what to suggest? Too expensive for me is not going to be the same for you, or the next guy. Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
TeamHT
To start, upgrade the big 3 in 0 gauge, get the largest battery you can fit up front should drastically increase performance. Also, more info on vehicle, equipment, and wiring. Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
JMac91
To start, upgrade the big 3 in 0 gauge, get the largest battery you can fit up front should drastically increase performance. Also, more info on vehicle, equipment, and wiring. Shitty 1995 for explorer. Just tryin to get info on what battery would be best. the first battery listed is what 350? I dont really wanna pay more than i did for my amp which was 250 so i guess that can be a price limit.. I didnt set one cuz half the time people dont pay attention to them anyways.. so no need to get angry man. cheaper the better i guess. and the wiring is gonna be all 1/0g'd out. my speaker wire is 8g. I just wanted to get the battery out of the way first cuz itll prolly be more expensive. also whats wrong with copper clad aluminum wiring? Supercharged DCs
This battery should do pretty good. And copper clad aluminum wire isn't as conductive as OFC wire. Quote Bassless once again. TeamHT
$250...what kind of amp. The big 3 is going to be a very essential upgrade, and one that will greatly affect the charging of your stock system. Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
