mr.p Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 Yessir, i need to talk to rusty about it actually, i was hoping i could run leads from his sampsons to the explorer, so i can see what it does on some serious power...that way i could adjust the port on full power... BUT im at the point now where i dont want to wait, i think i am going to just start glassing the sonotube in. The way i figure even with the high frequency peak, i can run alot less power and be very very very loud. If i have to i will just cut the sonotube out. Will not be fun tho! Either i keep it how it is (ugly and a flexing port tube) and do it 100% right and strive to adjust my bandwith a little lower, or i start glassing and bracing and get this shit looking gooooood DCAUDIO BALLS DEEP

With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

mr.p Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLvB4s2zoZU Not much but for 2kw and 4 15s....ALSO its way louder today i sealed and starting glassing the sonotube and holy crap what a difference, i didnt realize how much the sonotube was flexing before...also had a handful of issues after lowes...so i sillyconed it in for a bit i plan on peeling it all off and using window weld on the backside when i get a down day...which is like never...ALSO found the source of my passenger window rattle, I fixed that with a HUGE washer and some silly cone also Oh and the door still buzzes and rattles like a MOFO...not sure why really...maybe just the door panel itself.ALSO spent about 150$ at tap and started a layer with the knipex or whatever its called, going around the top and bottom of the sono inside the box and just put a couple strips of mat around it to see what it does. This stuff soaks up resin like no other completely wetted out and i can tell it could use more! But! the side panels are F%$# SOLID so is the joint to the roof.I am not very good at fiberglassing but its strong and getting the job done! DCAUDIO BALLS DEEP
