There's nothing wrong with sending a subwoofer 120hz.... Full tilt, no.... you can throw it on a TL at 1/4 volume from 20 hertz to 120 and your subs will be fine.... and you'll get a base range of numbers to see how far out you actually are. mr.p Posted April 30, 2011 Report Posted April 30, 2011 Actually the amp is struggling right now with the fan intermittently quitting? I tested all the fets and caps on the board all is well but i got some popping from the subs (was at low volume) and the deck shut off. I thought it was an rca problem, but pulled the amp out and tested the board before i powered it back on. Powered it on with no signal wires and didnt get any popping, but the fan on the board was squeeling and "sputtering". So before i go beat on the borrowed amp anymore im taking it to a pro with a current limiting test bench to check this thing out and maybe replace the fan. DCAUDIO BALLS DEEP
