The bandwith is like 35-55 with the port all the way open...We are going to brace the sealed baffle some more as a dowel rod has broken off and is rattling, just replace with threaded rod and add some 2x4's and fiberglass. I have another issue related to equipment im going to see how the company handles before i blow up about it. Its a doozie. (not subs or amplifier related) I think if we add some stuffing to the box, shrink the port im guessing about 3 inches we will TL to be sure. I think i can move it down about 5hz. mr.p Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 OK new update... guess i didnt need that anymore right? Took out the dowel rods...replaced them with 3/4" threaded rod, also i added a layer of glass to build up the pillars, and added 4lbs of poly fill to the sealed side...I was going to add 6 pouds at the pound per cu ft rule but was having to stuff it in so DAMN HARD i thought it would put to much pressure on the cones. Results? It is SO MUCH louder it is retarded. Now the only thing needing work is to stop the sonotube from resonating at 50-60hz as it is very annoying. Gave kasey (thehoe92) a demo tonight mby he will pop in and give some words. DCAUDIO BALLS DEEP
