SwaggerWagon
No, the prime amps aren't 1 ohm stable
SwaggerWagon
Check out ebay for the RF Punch P1000-1bd. It'll easily do 1k rms...RF's are usually underrated. I glanced and saw some prices for around 180-240 used..pictures are included in the posts I saw. I have two P500-1bd amps I bought used off ebay and love em! each does around 700 watts rms @ 1 ohm. Saturn
I'm using an Audiopipe ASPM-1300 (I think that's what its called lol?) anyways its rated 1000rms at 1ohm and its a small profile amp and like less than $115 shipped. Typically audiopipe makes good amps from what I hear. TeamHT
AP1500 or the hifonics brz1200. Edited April 1, 2011 by TeamHT Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
TeamHT
But honestly I would just get the AQ1200. A little above your budget, but manageable, and that price is shipped. Finding a good amp providing a clean true 1000 watts for under $200 is possible, but then factor in shipping. Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
