Edit- yea you don't need the harness. It's just there so you don't have to cut wires if you need to remove the door. With that plug disconnected dome lights and rear and front driverside speakers still will work. This is not a guess either. Who would have guessed that lambo doors on a Taurus of all things would look decent? Too bad the Taurus is so small, though. The hinges are capable of full 90 degree angle, but due to the tight fenders, that's about as far up as we could make them work without the gas shocks rubbing on anything. I assume the Molex connector is the massive round harness deal. Can't go straight wire-to-wire and leave it out with that one or what?
