using diodes to step up voltage

Recommended Posts

fecupe i need a picture of your alternator wiring. i believe this is the right one but not 100 percent sure. if it is then it should be easy

white/black wire is your sense wire and it just loops back into the alt

schematic-3G-ALT_wiring.gif

the wire that is inside the yellow is the sense wire for a ford 3g alternator. i believe your alternator is the same and the diode should go between the 3 wire harness and were it plugs back into the alternator. this one is different so im not totally sure how the ford alternators work. remember your doing this mod at your own risk of screwing up your car

Ok cool so just cut the white wire stick a diode or 2 in the middle then reconnect it?

spl dust is an option you can get on the coils... it's great for extra 1000 watts of power

where can i get this spl dust and how much is it. is it hard to apply? lol

I'm so glad this has helped so many people, I can't beleave no one figured this out before me. If they did they should have posted like I did.

lower tuning is just hard. I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz.
