I think I'd have to wire in some sort of by-pass to the pcm. If I knew more about electronics, I'd say it could be done. But unfortunately I don't, so I'LL probably end up having to go with a mod from MLA. I know I really could use that extra voltage. Just run the field wire of the regulator thru a potentiometer like a 0-1k and then you can adjust your voltage with a knob. And the other end of the wire direct to the alt stud, 12V+. That will put the alt in full field and bypass the pcm and regulator and then you adjust your set point with the knob.
