Coleslaw Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 I was looking at getting an MB Quart ONX1.1000D because it seems like a good price and I have heard pretty good things about MB Quart. Has anyone ever used this amp or other MB Quart amps? Do they put out the power they say they do? This Website says that it puts out 4 ohms: 475 watts x 1 chan. 2 ohms: 750 watts x 1 chan. 1 ohm: 1000 watts x 1 chan. And if thats true then it is exactly what I am looking for. Anyone had experience with these amps? I was also looking at the Hifonics HFI1000.1D (Here) since they are made by the same company. They both look like they are identical except the case but the Hifonics is cheaper. They both even have the same fuse rating. Is there any difference between the two as far as output?

What subs are you looking to power with the amp? Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

I would personally save up another $75 or so and buy a Aq1200. It does rated (actually a bit more lol)... What subs are you looking to power with the amp? I would love to, however, once shipping is added it is nearly $100 more and I'm on a pretty tight budget so I'm not sure I will be able to afford it. I currently have a Kole KMX-15, dual 2 ohm voice coils, rated at 1000rms, and I am planning on doing a build with a Dayton RSS390 HF4 which is rated at 500 rms and is single 4 ohm.

bruce leroy Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 i have a discus 1500 on a pair sa-15's and yes it does rated and then some. some people say not clean power but i set my gains with a oscope aka 05fronty 2 rd audio elite 12's aq 2200 off 4 ups batts
