Opinions on "inexpensive" chargers

Recommended Posts

I was looking around at walmart and came across a few inexpensive battery chargers that said they are fully automatic and had "float mode" but the only downfall is they were only like 6 amp or something. Has anyone had any experience with these? Would save me over 100.00 bucks..

I don't know the whole scientific explanation. I just know that its bad to charge AGMs (dry cell batteries) with those chargers that are designed for wet cell batts
