(nearly 1 meter each, dia 100mm) problem: low tones (under 37hz) plays really good only when I open sunroof.. Some people says that's because box too small, some because of roof flexin'.. what can you say? thanks. Kicker S15L5 (tuned to play 34-37Hz peaks)

Bakerman Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 Yeah, in previous systems, i've had boxes tuned low, and it only got "loud" when i opened the windows and/or sunroof. It just introduces a lot more air into the equation, allowing it to be louder...alot louder to the ear. You can make a bigger box that will be louder, but it will still get even louder when you open windows. If i'm wrong on this, someone please correct me.
