I was thinking about doing multiple 10s or an 18 for my next upgrade and never even thought about excursion but from what i've heard cone area is king so I would say the 10s because of the WOW factor and because of the cone area difference If someone with godly SPL knowledge could chime in on this subject that would be awesome. The question being: Is the parameter of "cone area" greater than "cone area & excursion", when it comes to SPL? My guess is the latter, but then again I'm pretty still. Thanks in advance
dubknight Posted April 11, 2011 Author Report Posted April 11, 2011 Ya was asking if u wer only useing 1 you could run 2 how much r u trying to spend Budget for all intents and purposes is high...And here is a list of things to be done or already installed: 2005 Hyundai Elantra GT Sedan Performance Custom PSI exhaust Custom PSI Intake & manifold Air bags - brand to be determined Electrical 2 hi-op-alts - 500 Amps combined at revs. 3 XS D3100 & another XS for the front double runs of 1/0 Audio Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD Head Unit Rockford Fosgate 300-4 powering 2x Infinity 6030cs 6.5" & 2x Infinity 692.9i Kappa Series 6x9" (This will most likely be upgraded but is actually pretty damn impressive as is) 2x AQ3500 or 2x AQ2200 depending on subwoofer decision. And yes, it is completely possible to fit 10 10's in the back of an Elantra. It is being permanently converted into a 2-seater.
