So I bought two Boss Audio CX154DVC subs. They're fifteen inch each dual 4 ohm voice coils with 900w rms capability. And I am custom making a box for them in my 99 pontiac grand prix gtp. I was wondering if I would be able to power them... I hadn't realized they will be pulling a lot more than the two 12s with one amp I had in there before.

What exactly would I do? Use two mono blocks that do 900 ea one that's two ch that can power both or what?

Thabks for help.

I'll be honest with you, I don't think they can handle 900wrms each. I would use a Aq1200d to run them both, you shouldn't have to worry about electrical upgrades with 1200w, my stock electrical didn't.

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

It's the best choice you can find for the money. I have found a better deal than 1200wrms of clean power for only $250.

It's also underrated, and you can wire it down to 1ohm to see a damn good amount of power out of it, just make sure you don't clip and pay attention to the clipping knob.

The only way to delete your SMD account is for you crawl to steve meades door step on your knees and pleade for his forgiveness and acceptance to be released...He will either grant your wishes.....or choke you with a large piece of 0 gauge and electrocute you by hooking up a solid gold DC 12k at 0.000001 ohm and 10000 volts to your eye sockets and blow your head apart

You guys act like you have never clogged a toilet and ran around the bathroom frantically hoping it don't overflow.
