mousemonster1232 Posted April 11, 2011 Report Share Posted April 11, 2011 So I bought two Boss Audio CX154DVC subs. They're fifteen inch each dual 4 ohm voice coils with 900w rms capability. And I am custom making a box for them in my 99 pontiac grand prix gtp. I was wondering if I would be able to power them... I hadn't realized they will be pulling a lot more than the two 12s with one amp I had in there before. What exactly would I do? I would use a Aq1200d to run them both, you shouldn't have to worry about electrical upgrades with 1200w, my stock electrical didn't. Quote Bassless once again. Supercharged DCs Posted April 11, 2011 Report Share Posted April 11, 2011 It's the best choice you can find for the money. I have found a better deal than 1200wrms of clean power for only $250. It's also underrated, and you can wire it down to 1ohm to see a damn good amount of power out of it, just make sure you don't clip and pay attention to the clipping knob. Quote Bassless once again.
