87ChevyCaprise Posted April 12, 2011 Report Share Posted April 12, 2011 alright so my friend has a 1996 dodge stratus 4 cylinder/2.4 lit 14 volts of altinater running 2 12inch infinnity kappa ssi 1400w max 2 or 4 ohm select kappa one 1600w max mono block 6gwd power wire 17 ft 6gwd ground wire 2 1/2 feet 80 amp inline fuse 16gwd from amp to subs 1 1/2 feet pioneer deh-p7200hd deck soooo the problem is that when we start to tune the amp it goes into protect mode everytime it starts to actually hit hard. We've tried all kinds of things to figure out what the problem is and we can't figure it out, can someone help us? or give us advice on things to try? The subs have a select switch on the for 2 or 4 and they both are on 2 and thy are wired straight from the positive and negative terminals on the box on each side and wired pos to neg on amp hope that makes sense Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
