Pittcrew
So right now I'm working on good system with DC subs but I'm just gonna get some cheap to hold me over in the meantime and was wondering if this would be a good combination. BOX: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0013MYXFC/ref=s9_simh_gw_p23_d0_i3?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-3&pf_rd_r=0V92VCS5W8718DR85DNA&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938811&pf_rd_i=507846 AMP: http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entertainment/Amplifiers/KAC-9105D two of these subs: http://www.amazon.com/Lanzar-MAXP154D-2000-Watt-Small-Enclosure-Subwoofer/dp/B000O3XT4W/ref=sr_1_2?s=car&ie=UTF8&qid=1302838976&sr=1-2 So yeah would this combination work well together? if not suggest some cheap alternatives. Remember I'm only using this as a temporary setup so don't flame me about using cheap stuff please. *EDIT* So I think I'm going to do this. This box http://www.amazon.com/Atrend-E15D-15-Inch-Sealed-Boxes/dp/B0013MYXFC/ref=pd_cp_e_3 with the kenwood amp above and two of these: http://www.amazon.com/Rockford-Fosgate-P1S415-15-Inch-Subwoofer/dp/B001B6WVHC/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top you guys think that would be good? Coolwazabi
um.. not really... the coils on the subwoofer are wrong unless you wanna run the kenwood amp at 1 ohm "which it says it isn't able to". I'm not sure the quality of the amp. But i know lanzar products have a real crappy rep. But maybe you could get a kicker cvr 15"s dual 4, audiopipe 1500d, and a sealed box. MrSkippyJ
Just out of curiosity, if you are saving for some better subs, why are you spending money on cheaper subs first? Autoinnovations
I'd get one of the 2 subs you want and a cheap box. If you get d2 or s4 ohm versions you can run your amp at 4 ohm now and 2 ohm when you can get the second sub. That way your half way there instead of starting over later
speedball1978
actually for 200 i think you can get a kicker amp and 2 12's comps in a kicker box ported.. if i'm not mistaken..
speedball1978
Just out of curiosity, if you are saving for some better subs, why are you spending money on cheaper subs first? he probably just wants to bump for now..until he can afford the dc products.. i don't blame him.. but i agree i would just save up first...before buying anything cheap
EclipseChris
He already has the kenwood subs. The $200 is for amp wood and prolly wire. I would say check craigslist for all that. $200 is not much money in the car audio scene. Quote i resolve to be a nicer moderator. Tercel build R.I.P. Eclipse build Old New V-Dub My feedback.
