why not leave that a slot-port and have ALL the air come out instead of just that tube? I see where your going with it, i know exactly what your doing, but to me in this case i would rather have all the energy guided out instead of it hitting that "wall" and going into that tube. A flared tube would be better if you insist on doing that though.

nice drawing to BTW ;)

i gotta go with steve opn this one bro, however maybe with a little bit of glass work you could make the air flow more easily into that tube. both ends flared and the wall not so obstructive and that could be an awesome design..

god job bro....

that is a pretty cool design

agree with meade though with the flared

flared ....i dont know why i didnt think of that. i was thinking of glassing the inside for smoother flow to.

i think 2marrow i will start building and testing out the design. a 12" treo i have needs a home.

the program i used was sketchup pro 5 full version. i downloaded it for free on one of the torrent sites

You have to eliminate that tube and the picture on the top right...that board should be smaller your taking too much from the enclosure. (Make it More equal to the other 45),

another idea: the space between where the 2 boards hit that back wall, i would connect the 2 boards by glassing in something in that space that was rounded.

i likes me some audio stuff...

sure that board is taking up space but ive seen some spl builds where that wall was used similar to that. thats something i might try for spl but for daily, i doubt there will be an audible difference.
