XxFlossinxX
Ok whats the difference of a dual 2 or dual
bassinblazer
Dual 2 is dual 2 ohm voice coils. Dual 4 is dual 4 ohm voice coils. If you are more into researching this, look up ohms law and do a little bit of research on here. Basically, can make the amp see different impedances(ohms) from your subwoofers. A single Dual 4 ohm sub can be wire to either 2 ohms or 8 ohms. A single Dual 2 ohm woofer can be 1 ohm or 4 ohms. The more woofers you wire together, the more complicated it gets, especially when you are new to this whole thing. If your amp is only stable at 1 ohm, and you have too many subs of a certain Voice coild design and impedance, it can represent problems. Quote BassinBlazer JL[RF][Kenwood][AQ] I need a new amp! XxFlossinxX
Ok well im confused on the wiring of the subs? if i take pictures of everything would that help?
bassinblazer
Dude, run the positive of both subs to the positive bridges connection on the amp, then run the negatives from both subs to the negative bridged connection on the amp. Use the existing terminals and bitch slap the guy who set up your system the next time you see him because he is a tool. Quote BassinBlazer JL[RF][Kenwood][AQ] I need a new amp! Sell me your amp! Skullz
I think they ran both subs on one channel @ 2ohms instead of bridged @ 8 ohms. Quote 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
