langsdon2
When I roll up to a stop light and at a compelte stop my subs are making a low volume tone. For example it makes the sound your subs would make on volume 2 on HU. It is only when i am at a complete stop though, as soon as i let off the gas and start moving it no longer makes the sound? Should i ground the rca's? I just noticed it and havent gotten the chance to tinker with anything yet(OHIO WEATHER FTL) Quote Bang em if you got em
langsdon2
Also, the longer i sit it gradually builds up louder and louder. Id compare peak to about 5 on hu. (CDA 105 Quote Bang em if you got em
blownengine
Sounds like a ground loop. Are your power wires close to your RCA's? My friend also had this problem. It was a bad RCA plug. When you wiggled the connection the sound went away. langsdon2
Yes they are in the same vicinity. However i dont think that this is the issue, I would think that if it were caused by power and rca then it would be a constant sound instead of just at stops. blownengine
Maybe the sound is drowned out by road noise? langsdon2
No its very audible sound. I went into the middle of a parking lot when i first heard it and came to complete stop, as soon as i started rolling the slightest bit it was gone. inm
Honestly, I'd still recommend you run the RCA's away from the power wire... Or try new RCA's. jconnway
RCAs for sure. Don't know exactly what the problem is but I'd bet it has something to do with them. run them away from the power, check the connectors, maybe you have a broken pin... its weird about the stopping and rolling bit though Quote Full Pioneer Build 4 Per Door - Front Door Build Up
