RooTxBeeR
As title says, is it possible to do it, will it still sound the same since the sound waves you will hear are coming from the back end of the sub. Azagtoth502
Never tried it with a sealed box, shouldn't be much difference. Guest
it will give you a little more internal box space and far better cooling (since sub is exposed) so i dont see anything wrong with it whatsoever

RooTxBeeR
Is there anything I would have to do to my amp or audio settings when I do this? Vitacy
If you have a 180 phase switch on the amp you have to turn it to the other way to 180.

RooTxBeeR
Well I did this, seems to hit a lot harder, just seems like it is better like this than in the box. I have a setting on my HU for SW Phase, its either NML or REV, I have it set to REV, it seems to sound better like that. if that is what you are talking about a 180* phase, what does that even mean and do?
