MaliBOOM Posted June 6, 2011 Author Report Posted June 6, 2011 I've been checking in on your thread because for one it's a great build and two because I'm thinking about doing a 4th order wall with my 4 18's. Your score is pretty impressive being at 30hz! How low can you go and play with decent authority? I know bp tuning is different but being tuned at 49hz I was just curious because I was thinking about going with 45hz and about 2:1 ratio. I have only attempted as low as 27 and its still painful to your stomach. I would imagine after 27 and lower it drops off a good amount but I'm not sure. Mine is basically a 2-1 as well. 7 Sealed and 13.5 Ported. Tuning to 45 would be really low I would do it if I could do it again. It's like 30 minutes north of Orlando. 45 or so minutes East of Ocala. I LOVE YOUR BUILD IM ACTUALLY SWITCHING UP (PENDING ABOUT 1500$) TO A 2-1 8 15'S TO INCREASE MY EFFECTIVE BANDWITH AND LOWER MY RISE PER SUBWOOFER. it might resemble this design slightly. DCAUDIO BALLS DEEP
