dwright27
The sealed chambers weren't wide enough to put the subs in after the baffles were mounted, so the subs had to be mounted first. After resin dried. Touched up a few spots where the tape was, then put the top on. 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. Blackedout
4th order looks sick dwright... Only question I have is why you decided to mount the subs the way you did... Seems like a lot of work to swap subs... And I saw your post about the sealed chamber not having enough room to mount the subs, but I'm wondering why you didn't flush mount them from the ported chamber. And I saw your post about the sealed chamber not having enough room to mount the subs, but I'm wondering why you didn't flush mount them from the ported chamber. This is a fairly simple answer. The sealed chambers for a pair of 10s is pretty small. There is only .73 or so cubes there, if the magnets were in the sealed chamber, it would make the porter chamber to small cause they would have to be a great distance from the side walls. If something ever happens to the woofers, there are 2 choices, drop cut the outside wall, or destroy the box to get to them. That's the only problem with small 4th orders.
