alrernator whinealright so i this weekend i put in my 6.5 components and the new amp but some reason my rca cables are picking up alternator whine any

alright so i this weekend i put in my 6.5 components and the new amp but some reason my rca cables are picking up alternator whine any ideas what it could be i know for a fact its the rca cable because when i unplug them from my amp it goes away .... any advice?

be sure to not run rca and power wire together

Yep, what he said, power on one side, RCA on the other.

Also, check your grounds, make sure they are all real good, no paint, etc.

It coukd be junk RCA's I swapped mine out and it fixed it. I would switch them out. An if that doesn't work to a ground loop on your headunit

alright im bamboozled new rca's wasnt it the guys at the shop said "oh thats your amp grounding back through your rca's" ive personaly never heard of that b4 but i re did my ground anyways and still whine i have no clue. Swagg you mentioned a ground loop on my head unit would you care to explain that?
