ive never had mine metered but at most id put it at 135 with my new amp

not sure about tony's though

I take it that getting this car to 145+ db's is no easy task

Its extremly hard to get louder than a 145 in this car, it just flex's way to much, if you watch closely in my video the rear window moves about an 1.5" easily, in that video I only have 1200 watts rms.

can it be done? absolutely, but its gonna be a ton of work and you will need a ton of power, and a ton of money, tune the box in the upper 30's, like 39 hzish

the 2-15 settup was tuned to 32hz.

How high did you hit with the Soundstreams, what kind of amp were you using.

I did a 143.3 bassrace @ a show with the hifonics Brutus 1205D @ .5ohms

One last question, and Ill stop annoying you :) Who and where did your car. I want re-do my sound system. But I dont know of any shops that are as familiar with the mustang . Im sure you have seen my car before. Thank you .

Did a 142.2 with a pair of 10's on 1500 watts in a '01 Stang. Subs rear, port side. The key seems to be a smaller box that will allow the airflow around it and into the cabin, instead of trying to put big subs in it, unless you go the route David did. We haven't had good luck with 12's in the trunk of those generation Mustangs at all. 10's seem to be the way to go.

hey Chester, this is the guy with that had the 00 lazr red GT in vacaville, and your not annoying me at all, I have no problem helping out a fellow Stang lover.

I dont have it anymore, gas was killin me I sold it. Im in marysville Ca. are you going to World Finals? if so i will see you there and we can talk about it.
