sactownstang
Only reason I stuck with kenwood was it's Music Keg It's a lap top HD in a cartridge... They came with 10 gig I swapped to a 80 gig. I have about 40 gigs on it and it's hard to manage so much damn music!! The x891 kenwood has a USB port and it's claim is I can connect usb drives and play mp3's off them.... That x891 flipped out at finals not reading the DB Jams CD (but it worked fine next day) so for competiton it's gona be Alpine (can't use HD in the lanes anywwayS). Stephen
I have the kenwood x-591 with the usb input and im using a old HDD i had from a computer I just bought a hard drive case off geeks.com and got a power inverter. It will need to be in FAT16 or FAT32 format because that is all it reads, which means you are limited to 40gigs. If you have a bigger hard drive you can section it off and only use 1 of the portions.
