Rainman215
Just wondering if there's anymore info besides the paragraph on the XS website. How does this compare to the 1600 and 3100? Rainman215
Yeah. New 16 volt batt. "The XP1000 has gotten great reviews since its introduction to the market. The XP1000 is rated at 2400 Max AMPS, 675 CA, 85 RC, and 50 AH. The perfect option for the racer or competitor that doesn’t need the reinforced casing of the D1600, and at $249.99 you can not find a better performing 16V battery." Nathan @ XSpower
Same performance as the D1600. Just a different case that doesn't have all the reinforcement on the sides that the D1600 has. Size, weight, performance, and everything else is the same. There really is no way to compare it to the D3100, since the D3100 is a 12V battery that is about twice the size as the XP1000. Rainman215
Makes sense. Well in terms of output in a bassrace vehicle. Would 2 Xp1000s outperform a single 3100? Nathan @ XSpower
16V is going to outperform 12V all day long if the amps will take the higher voltage. The 16V do not have the capacity that the D3100 have, because they are about half the size. 1500watts per 16V for competition use is what you can count on. Team_DC-Derrick
are you running a 16v system? is your charging system able to handle the 18v needed to charge the 16v batteries...? if no, then stick with the 12v batts Quote The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... If he is asking about the performance of a particular battery he already knows what he needs to know. It sounds like to me he has some nasty plans underway.
