bre2ts Posted July 12, 2011 Author Report Posted July 12, 2011 a few updates i finally got my bracket in last week for my alt but have been real busy with work. went to go install my alt and it doesn't fit properly. again another victory from DC Power. this is becoming more and more frustrating. also when i went to go install i realized bottom mounting threads were not the same as stock so i had to go and find new bolt in town (after emailing dc to get thread size and never got an answer). i also had to the buy a tap the clean up some of the threading because upon further investigation of alt the outer threadings got smashed during shipping or packing. i have contacted mechman and going to have them make me an alt. heres a pic of the gap on the top mounting part of the alt also broke my AC belt tensioner when trying to change out assy belts and having a god awful time finding a replacement for it. got new brake rotors, pads, and shoes in also got my 3" body lift in. 3" lift hopefully work will slow down soon and we won't have to work 12hrs a days including weekends Feedback 1 | Feedback 2 you win some, you lose some
