Decaf Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 12" RE SE getting punished by ~900-1000w from 1606d @ 2 ohms.... she pounds 2cuft@35hz, temp, original was 2 12 se 4cuft @ 30hz and lows were awesome pleased but will be a nice once i get my new setup...... 15 fi q on re 12.1 !!!! Decaf Posted October 1, 2007 Author Report Posted October 1, 2007 nope, not til next spring when new eqiupment is installed. i need a ea alt, new battery, fix my blown re 12.1, sell current 12" se in box, sell amp, and run 1/0 instead of the wimpy 4. ive been to quit a few shows, id say that with 2 12" se on re 12.1, 140-1 @ 42ish hz (jeezy is f*^#@ loud) tops, but sq is great. with one, on a 1606d, 135ish its loud and clear but just temporary itll be replaced by a fi q or if the new si mag comes out by then, an si mag ftmfw. Decaf Posted October 1, 2007 Author Report Posted October 1, 2007 i dont like the 1606d, runs hot, even in winter with gains set with dmm (its barely before half gain). 2nd, the re 12.1 has 3 burnt mosfets, and it does me no good to not repair it, so ill sell the 1606 and 12" se, use the money to repair 12.1 and grap up the q or mag. and the 1606 didnt like 1 ohm much, the re was fine and rarely got hot, plus it has a smaller fuse rating Quote
