12voltz+- Posted September 30, 2007 Report Share Posted September 30, 2007 WELLL, lets just say im stuck!! i have a 1999 ford escort 4 door, and right now i have a mtx 9500 12 in a ttb horn im hitting 144.2 db which isnt bad for 1 12''. but i want louder i was thinking about walling my escort with 2 18'' mts but idk if my escort can hold it , weight wise. and it would be a daily driver too so i dnot know if driving my escort every day with all that weight would kill it slowly or what. right now i have 1 18'' mt i was thinking about walling but im wanting 2..... but im on a budget to ....... for amps i was thinking about autotek mm4400.1 since there nice amps at a fair price.... but idk if my escort will like all this, so what do you guys think of a walled off DD in a escort ? uhg idk wtf to do lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There are lots of compact cars out there rolling around with wall. But if weight comes in to play, maybe stiffer springs? Iam not good with suspension, but there are a few ways to lift the car, and stiffen the suspension up. I had a friend with a Ford Festiva, and 4- KLove Armegedons walled off, if he could do it in Fords smallest american carever, then a escort will have no problems I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
