But it was hard to explane how & why I did it on the Swedish forum so I won´t even try to explane it in english.. Hopefully the pics can explane most of it anyway. My top score didn´t change at all after the roof an foam was put in side the car, but it got more even and the car did 154-154.2dB between 45-50Hz dB Dragracing style (closed up and the sensor on the windscreen on the passagerside). @ 20Hz, the car did 147.7dB dB Dragracing style. Personal bests: dB Drag: 163.4dB (2004) Propper Droppers: Average: 150.5dB. Peak: 153.2dB @ 26Hz (2010) EASCA dBL: 152.2dB (music)(2010)

Extra Kim Posted May 1, 2011 Author Report Posted May 1, 2011 There´s some nice things with cheap ugly looking cars, you don´t need to be that carefull with them I did some test with an new "dash": From a comp back in 2009: Don´t know if you guys ever have heard about the Propper Droppers competition format but the basic rules are: The sensor on the headrest (on the driverside or the passagerside, you deside), open or closed doors/windows (you can test both during the comp) and then you measure 20, 25, 33, 40Hz and then a free frequensie add them together and devide with five to get an average score. My car did: A total of: 150,5dB Peak/26hz = 153,2dB 40 hz = 151,1dB 33 hz = 151,1dB 25 hz = 152,9dB 20 hz = 144,2dB As the car stands right now, havn´t desided if I´m going to come out and play again ths year or not, time will tell.
