El1T3Bass Posted May 3, 2011 Report Share Posted May 3, 2011 ***Go to Page 4 for the rebuild*** So im finally back into bass after almost a year of not having any!! i got the tb during the winter and love it! its a 2003 ext 5.3l v8 anyways for the last several months ive been doing small things to it and have alot of big things planned! so before i get onto the deets and goodies i thought id warn all of you this is going to be a very slow but sweet build, enjoy! already done: 10k HID's pioneer avh-p330 what in store! 2/3 drop 22 or 24's debadging halo/projectors taking off the ugly running boards some other stuff im totally spacing out right now! heres some pics of whats going on there. Now on to what everyone is here for! i have 4 Fi x 10" subs in a box designed by ram-designs no clue what im doing for amps yet SUGGESTIONS PLEASE? planning on having an xs3400, and a 2400 (maybe 14 volt?) all knu 1/0 wire cresendo mids and highs Oh and its all behind the third row and thats all i really have planned for right now! box build should start next week sometime, and i plan to have everything playing by may 19! thanks for looking guys wow now this just shows that smd isnt just any forum. Looks good.. what amp you looking at running he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. I'm undecided, but it sounds like the aq2200 is a solid amp so I'll probably just start out there wow now this just shows that smd isnt just any forum. How many big builds have you seen in the third row of a TB EXT or Envoy XL? I can't think of any who were able to fit more then two woofers in one while keeping the third row functional. I'll throw up some teaser pics tomorrow to see if anyone can guess what it is. Hint #1. A pretty well known guy on this forum runs these amps.
