i watch chip foose do it all the time on overhaulin when he doesnt like the stance of the customers car (which he never does) why is that ok and if i do it its not

Cut them springs......Who cares what it rides like as long as it looks good. I have cut springs before and never had an issue besides bouncy suspension, fmi 1 full coil=2ish inch drop

exactly what i was thinking ive been told to get the truck to sit right ill have to cut at minimum 1.5 coils

I would go 1.5 to start. You can always cut more but will be hard to add coil back on lol

i was going to cut one then put it all back together loosely and see where im at and cut a little more try again till i get it right

i have a hard time believing Foose would cut a coil to get a proper stance when he has access to all the correct products to do everything RIGHT. Thats something that you do when you are 17yrs old, broke and dont have the internet and people like us to tell you NOT to. Ive done it, yes.....when i was 17, broke and dindt know any better (was no internet when i was 17)

I say do it right the first time. A 2" drop is not that expensive. Save up.
