and like david had said up there it gets rid of 98% of the rattles in the trunk from back pressure but still rattles from the car itself just vibrating

but it sounds soo much better now then before when the trunk sounded like it was going to fall apart

I'm not a ducktape guy, wood pannels to fill in the gaps and spray foam and deadener everwhere else... on my last build I used about a quarter of a can of foam... this build I plan on finishing that can..lol

the box's for the 6x9s are there because i have been to lazy to fiberglass something in the rear deck for the 6.5s/tweeters

Use gorilla tape!! What i did was, do a layer of tape then cut come cardboard to fit in the big areas then do another layer of tape, it really helps make it stronger

make sure the box doesnt move at all or it will rip the tape off.

there also might be a bunch of holes in your rear deck... look from inside the trunk and if there is holes... tape them up too

I prefer gorilla tape because its reallyfucking sticky (has ripped skin off fingers..) and its thicker and sticks to anything and everything

make sure the box doesnt slide i found easy way of doing this is to

get some angle iron and drill 2 holes in it

drilled 2 holes in the trunk each side of the box

and then a t-nut on the inside of the box

and bam done the box is now one with the car

oh and i used water noodles to fill the void before i filled it with tape

It is going to be a double din touch screen(don't know which one yet)2 12 inch DC XL's in the biggest box I can build without doing it in the trunk, 1 DC 3.5K to power them. I already have Infinity 6.5 coax's in the door, stock location, I plan on glassing them into a pod for the doors. Also, getting another set for the rear deck and glassing the entire thing, to make it nice and pretty. Might as well go with the DC 175.4 to power the mids and highs. I might do pods for the kicks, don't know about that yet. DC alt and a couple batteries to keep the voltage up.

I will be doing a full glass trunk with LEDs showcasing the amps and to hide the sub box a little. False floor, false wall, everything I can think of to make this thing a show stopper. LOL

That way I won't feel so bad about having to drive 2+ hours to compete. It will take a long time to be finished but when it is you will all see it on here

I won't start a proper build log until I have everything bought and started though. I might post my temp set up, just to show how much of a difference it is going to be. I just hope no one laughs too much.
