Triple B Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 I'm going to be running the dc 2k amp and I have a stock amp and battery, will I need a new alt and battery or could I get away with it? Or should I do the big three and new battery? Or just do it all?

If all your running is a 2k, I'd say just get the biggest XS batt you can fit under your hood, big 3, and maybe a smaller secondary batt like a D975 in your trunk depending on your voltage. Supercharged DCs Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 Stock 117A alt, XS D3400 under the hood, Big 3 in Ogauge. Voltage doesn't drop below 14v at full tilt, and around 13.7v at idle. Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
