I guess I'll start from the beginning since I haven't post anything about my car on here. It's a 2002 v40 with 1.9l turbo. Whats left to do: Custom high output alternator new springs for all the weight Sand and paint tweeter pods with bedliner or matte black paint. Redo midbass pods this summer, contemplating trying to add another set of tweets and 6.5s or not. Going to a comp in a few weeks and will be metered on a Termlab. I'm expecting 149-150dB sealed up at the headrest. Gain on subwoofer amplifier is set very modestly until new alternator comes. I was originally looking for a v70 but couldn't find any with relatively low miles. I don't want to go really in depth with the vibes since I think they deserve a proper install first. I've finished up the left door pod but the right still needs work, hopefully I'll have it finished up in a week or so, then I can give a better review. I like the tweets, they sound nice and crisp. The midbass sounds good but isn't that loud. Some songs its pretty nice, others I can't hear it quite that well. But I'm also use to blasting bass, so kind of comparing midbass output to bass output if you know what I mean. They sound pretty good playing Slightly Stoopid, stuff of that nature.

(you might want to check it) Further more my team mate drives a '97 V40 (simular to yours) with an even bigger setup, but that one is still under construction. (i can send you some pics if you want) Now, put a TermLab in it! Thanks, Oh I've seen your build, even commented on it Absolute stellar craftsmanship. I would love to see pics from the v40 and any testing done / TL results. I would love that I just saw you changed amps, gotten it on the TL yet? Are you running a stock or high output alt? Also I have a company building a high output alt for my v40, so once their done with the casing and all that, you could probably order it for your s40, if need be
General Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 Didn't measure it yet with the TL, but i guess it passed 150+ now. (with my old amp it hit 149+ and it sound MUCH louder now!) Before i put my termlab on the windshield i have to fix some little problems.
