TheyDontWantMusic Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 so you want to measure how much current the fuel pump, ecu, etc draw? chances are its more than the 10amps most multimeters will handle, so you'll need a clamp meter.

AMI CUSTOMS Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 Yeah it clamps around the cable you would clamp your alt 12v+ lead coming of the alt going to either the fuse box/junction box/ or battery then turn ac on full blast headlights on high and radio then touch the brake pedal that is the largest demand. Read the reading on the clamp meter done. And a car with a Portable Car DVD seems to be more attractive for me, which will offer more entertainment for my family. So I am planning to get a quality car DVD player mounted into my vehicle. But too many choices make me confused and don’t know which one is the best for me. ? Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
