Problem is, would like to use aero ports and i've never used them neither has the guy who will be building my box(he is an SQ guy)

car is a 06 honda civic so trunk box

2 sa-12's

2500d

i'd like to tune to 35hz

I played with the box builder software main issue is I'm unsure size number and length of aero port to use

Some one please provide some guidance/ input

I'd use 12 - 14 square inches of port.

Aeros are much more efficient then slot port so no need to have a huge port area. I prolly do around 3 - 4 cubes, with 50 or so square inches.

2 3" aero ports should work for you. Flare the ends, and call it a day. If my math is right ( pi x radius ^2 ) ( area of a circle ) then that's 28 square inches per port.

Size - 3"

Ended up doing 3.5 after displacement with 3 4" aero's at 35hz

I think that it will have a very peaky response. Will get loud, but peaky.

My other box for the single sa-12 was tuned at 35hz but square port and I loved how it sounded...

Why do you say peaky? Bc of the aero port?
