Paint job in the driveway ends with a bang! :(

Recommended Posts

Not too shabby. Looks like you guys did some decent prep work.

and for the guys talking about rattlecan jobs, make sure you get decent paint for it. It cost my friend less to do his whole truck in rustoleum paint than it did for him to do it in 96 cent walmart paint. That cheap paint is cheap because it has less paint in it, the more expensive paint goes much farther. I think it was 28 cans of cheap paint to make it look decent, and it took 5 cans of the good paint to do the whole truck and make it look decent.

Gah! Looks like he painted it black without doing any body work first. Black is the worst color on a beat up car, it not only shows every flaw, it exaggerates them. That hood looks rough, but the paint seemed to turn out ok. I would hate to sand the dust and pollen out of the paint though.

It's all gone!

I was gonna say the same thing. Looks like a semi gloss, I would have done a flat, not so many shadows in the dents and would have looked way better

Since were all having a moment of truth.

I hate country too..

I'd only listen to it if I got some hotass bitch in my car and shes gonna suck my dick.

That's more than most people do. If you would have done a little bondo here and there it'd probably look good as new.
