FaTbOy911 Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 not realy the reocne kit is like every other woofera recone kit Had an estimate of 6400 for an alpine/clarion setup dealer said it "should" hit around 160db with the custom boxes he was going to make for me..doubtful with so much area to move but, budget is way below that any ideas on cheaper brands for that kind of Spl setup? really didnt want to try any Boss or soundstorm, thinking Quantum figure around $150 per speaker "$1800 total" and $1700 to power it, first actual big setup for the van. I found a pic, actually it is the sub minus the motor, all pre assembled. I don't think there is a competition proven mainstream sub like the MOJO from what I read. Memphis kinda falls into the middle stream category. Not many big box retailers carry them. They are a shop brand basically. But still USA owned I think... Mehrl38 Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 HA!!! I AM IN LOVE WITH THE THREAD!!!! I had 1 yes i said 1 15 MOJO. Exactly what you had and it was the sickest thing ive ever had. I wish i wouldnt of sold it. I would recommend that sub to anybody. I ran 2200 to it and it rates at 2250. Slammed all day everyday no problems. never cut out never had 1 problem. ive had people get out of my car jump completely out of the seat given people the chills and yes i know all you hardasses with 4 and 6 mojos with stacked amps like look at this kid but when people got in my car and couldnt stay in it and i said i had 1 15 people flipped and it was crazy. With the budget i was on it was amazing. i got the MOJO and the matching one that was blown for $200. now tell me that wasnt a good deal lol ALL IN ALL.....THE MOJO IS AN AMAZING IDEA!!! even if you only get one.
