I'm currently thinking of building a clam and doing 8 fi x 15's. Low powered setup with lotzz of cone area. It'll be going in a 4 dr blazer. Anyone actually attempt a similar build? I know I'll need around 24cuft and want to tune around 30 hz. I'll be powering it with a crescendo 2k

are you just doing it for the cool factor? Its almost a grand in woofers. maybe more after shipping. Do you know what that gets you in the land of big dog woofers? just about any that you could think of. hell thats two new btl n2 18s.

I just looked you already have one. get a second get another c2k and away you go in the same budget. Easier build. less holes to cut. Id bet it would be louder too.

I heard cone area is king. I'm willing to try it out.

What about motor force? I'm willing to bet that 2 N2s have more.

Any other woofers that would be better for cheaper?

DC level 2 or 3's? I don't know if the price is comparble. Just throwing it out there.

I don't know what you're going for, but splittin 2k among 8 subs isn't much, Seems a waste to buy big coil subs just to underpower them. Too bad you didn't ask this 2 weeks ago, Amazon.com was selling RF P1 15s for $41 shipped...
