Nice meeting all you guys. My buddy wasn't used to those conditions and had to bow out a couple times haha, but i'm glad i got to go.

And Ray, that power wheel does sound pretty good i thought too.

Big ups to james for the water ...that was a must :drink40:

Had a good time yesterday left berfre medals were handed out took 1st in both classes heres a vid of my 2nd park an pound run i was .1 quieter than my first. probably cuz it was hot as hell.

TEAM DC AUDIO

VEHICLE:98 chevy tahoe 2wd 3-4 drop

HEADUNIT:alpine 9886

PREAMP:arcaudio

FRONT STAGE:4-6 1/2s selinium,DD component set and 4-selinium tweeters in each door

KICKPANELS:jl audio 5 1/4

REAR DOORS: dd components 6 1/2s

HIGHS AMPS:zapco 750.2 on front doors,zapco an another 750.2 on kicks and rear doors

SUBS:4-ascendant audio 18s with 5 spiders in a custom box built by KINGSUV

SUB AMP: 2-dc7.5s

ALTERNATORS: 3-mechmans 1- 425comp, 1-smd spec350, 1-270 with adj voltage harness on custom dc bracket

WIRE:10-runs 0g front to back

BATTERIES:6-d1400s

TL results:157.1 at 38hz and 156.8 at headrest score @37hz. STATE AND NATIONAL RECORD IN MECA S5.

im pretty sure your team already told you but your batts do have to be labeled 12VOLT for street class sorry

well you missed that show and the convo i had with him... i told him he would be in mod that show but might be able to talk to steve or someone and still be in street as long as his voltage was in legal limits i had no issues with it .. and after talking to the higher ups its a NO they have to be labeled 12VOLT batts

so no matter what with the batts he has he is stuck in mod for the time being

Then thanks for looking into it further and getting it verified.

And that's a kind of a confusing rule, because it says alternator voltage can be somewhat high but batts must be labeled 12volt so they're somewhat conflicting.

But rules are rules.

But rules are rules.

i agree on the confusing/conflicting rules.. on voltage.. and is also why we had to look deeper into it again i would have had no issues with it as long as he stayed within legal voltage but i was overruled i did try tho good luck guys
