Supercharged DCs Posted May 19, 2011 Report Posted May 19, 2011 Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the Team DC XL is also known as the DC XL SPL. It is designed for SPL competitions, burping to be specific. It's said to be stronger than LV5 series subwoofers, not sure if it is true or not. There is no vent on the magnet, which allows pressure to be built behind the cone better. The lack of the vent also brings the BL up. It has a tighter gap which is great for burping. As to whether or not it can play music well, I have no idea. I believe Thor has experience with these subs, so maybe hit him up Quote Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
