I have my JL 450/4 and Hifonics zx7500 on Ebay and am using that money to get a AQ2200D to use on my HDC3 15. Is this a good match, and will it over-power my HDC3? Assuming I set my gains right, I wanted to know how safe I am with this amp for pounding this sub. I need an amp to power my AQ better so I am thinking about buying this. Supercharged DCs Posted May 20, 2011 Report Posted May 20, 2011 I've told you before, the HDC3 will love that power, assuming it's clean. Clipped signals will kill it, but the AQ2200 will be perfect for the HDC3. Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

My P3 RF 12" can take everything my 1200d can dish out and not break a sweat (I wish I'd bought the 2200 and had some headroom). Big 3 with 1/0 welding cable, dual runs of 1/0 and 2gua F-R DD 2512 D2 powered by Audioque 1200d at 1ohm, 2.5ft^3 ported to 36Hz Boston SX 6.0 comps powered by Phoenix Gold M50 for front stage Silver Flute 8" midbass in doors powered by Alpine 3539 Alpine CDA-117 HU
