tygixxer60 Posted May 20, 2011 Report Posted May 20, 2011 I have 2 Kicker CVX 12's in a 4.7ft3 ported box tuned to 32hz powered by a Kicker 2500.1 at about 70.7 volts, all 0 gauge wiring and back up battery . They just started making an occasional snapping sound when bass hits right before low notes or when i quickly crank it up. Any ideas as to why its doing this?
OBI Posted May 20, 2011 Report Posted May 20, 2011 Sound like they are bottoming out. You box seems a tad on the big side, plus your giving your subs almost 2x rms.
