SPLVan Posted May 22, 2011 Report Posted May 22, 2011 So i made a huge noob mistake and designed my box with room for only 2 3" pvc ports. and now looking it over i have very little port area per cube ): so my only option is to do subs up port back. and im looking to imitate steve's tahoe box. but im not sure if torres calculator is setup to calculate like that. and if it is. im having one hell of a time trying to lower the tuning on the port. my box dimensions are 21H 27.5W 19.5D someone please help! 1999 Dodge Caravan [TrashMobile] 8ga Power/Ground AudioPipe APSM-1300 (subs) Scosche 550 (mids/highs) Boss 735UA Headunit (2)Hifonics HFi12D4 Still Under Major Construction.. Achieving the 30hz tuning didnt require him to use a long port. RAM_Designs Posted May 22, 2011 Report Posted May 22, 2011 Its because he has a big box and small port. Achieving the 30hz tuning didnt require him to use a long port. And the port size was fairly low anyways, requiring less port length as well.
