SkylarDunn Posted May 23, 2011 Report Posted May 23, 2011 Also, anyone have any idea what the white stuff is on the spider? just curious... i tried to whipe it off, no luck. i can only assume i broke the coil by it slapping the back plate, altho, i didnt hear it hit a single time, and the other 12" has been on the same amount of power for 3 months after that one bit the dust, without a single problem, so any insight on how it may have happened would be appreciated. Getting bass into the cabin of a W124 mercedes is impossible. Current setup: Temp 1999 panasonic HU rockford 300.2 for fronts rockford 200.2 for rears rockford 400.1 for sub Leaning towards a 8" in an exponential horn DAMN YOU GERMANS AND YOUR 5" SPEAKERS!
