RooTxBeeR Posted May 23, 2011 Report Share Posted May 23, 2011 So I got home last night at 10, with the system working good. Left at midnight, the right side of my stereo wasn't working. I also noticed that if I touched the right + - there would be no distortion what so ever or anything, and last I remember when my system worked, if I touched any + - it would create distortion on all my speakers. I have checked all my wires and what not and everything is connected right. It leads me to believe the right out in my HU must be done? I turned my fader to 15 earlier to the right, punched my HU quite a few times and it worked again. I could be wrong..but the cause of your issue could have something to do with "punched my HU quite a few times" LOL.. Check the outputs on the headunit. If it works when you "punch" it, it sounds like it could be a loose connection between speaker wire, wiring harness etc. Just my 2 cents.
