RooTxBeeR Posted May 23, 2011 Report Posted May 23, 2011 So I got home last night at 10, with the system working good. Left at midnight, the right side of my stereo wasn't working. I also noticed that if I touched the right + - there would be no distortion what so ever or anything, and last I remember when my system worked, if I touched any + - it would create distortion on all my speakers. I have checked all my wires and what not and everything is connected right. It leads me to believe the right out in my HU must be done? RooTxBeeR Posted May 23, 2011 Author Report Posted May 23, 2011 Fader is at 0, when I go R 15 all the way to the right there is nothing at all. I have a ipod connected but that isn't it. I turned my fader to 15 earlier to the right, punched my HU quite a few times and it worked again. I could be wrong..but the cause of your issue could have something to do with "punched my HU quite a few times" LOL.. Check the outputs on the headunit. If it works when you "punch" it, it sounds like it could be a loose connection between speaker wire, wiring harness etc. Just my 2 cents.
