But to be so basic, I can't believe people actually got it wrong.

i cant believe you're giving a math quiz on SMD lol. go work on your car, your obviously way too bored. :drinks:

hdorre, 7th grade was what, 2 years ago for you? go ten years without ever having to use that stuff, because in the real world you dont use it, then see of you remember lol.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

I saw someone do a poll on facebook, and it was hilarious how many people were acting so smart choosing 0, and telling the others how stupid they were b/c anything x 0 = 0...I don't have enough friends on facebook to get a major response, so I figured I'd try it here.

You bring up a good point. I know that Ive used pemdas in every math class since I learned it. I assume that ill use it in my following math classes too. After somebody uses it for so many years (middle school, high-school, and possibly college), one would think that it would be something you'd remember. People can take more than one math class a year too. I'm taking 2 next year. Pemdas is also used in a few other classes (like Physics).

...of course the curriculum has changed too :/

Ok, you got me thinking about math now....try this one

Simple math required, Create the number 24 using only these numbers once each: 3, 3, 7, 7.

You may use only the following functions: +, -, *, /. that is plus, negative, multiply & divide.

The answer is:.....let me know if you give up already! I'll post the answer if nobody is able to do it.

Close, but since you give it a shot I will give you the answer.
