ChevyBoy95
I'm going to get an alternator soon and was wondering how high is too high for car electronics when it comes to volts. I'll probably leave it at 14.5 though. And what will act better/worse fromthe upped current and voltage? JZeFF
I know my stock alternatoe charges at 14.9, no problems at all.. But a question for the un-informed (me) On aftermarket alternators you can set where you want it to charge? Or is this like a setting you choose when you order it? lol, thanks! Well that I think I know, some come with controllers that you can up the voltage with, I.e. A up and down arrow on a thing that looks like a volt meter or they have a little box like thing that can change it. But you can change it whenever as long as it has the vcm. ChevyBoy95
Will regular stock batteries have an issue charging at 14.8v?
