ShooterK2 Posted May 30, 2011 Report Posted May 30, 2011 Well my son and I have been playing around at area competitions with our walled Honda Civic, and now my daughter has decided she wouldn't mind competing a little bit with her 1999 (new body style) Chevy single cab pickup. It's too nice a truck to cut up, and besides, she'll just get tired of it anyway, so I'm hoping we can get her loud with a behind-the-seat box....... I just don't have a clue how to do it. Anyone had success in a case such as this? What size and how many subs? Subs on passenger side, port on driver's side? Port up? Round port or slot? If I had to guess, I'd say two tens would probably be about right for the given airspace (still need to take exact measurements, but it's probably gonna be around 3 cubes or so before displacements). Needs to be musical, but still meter decent. We will probably go with a AP1500 for power, since we have one that is not currently in use. We compete in MidwestSPL mostly (some USACI), so the meter is in the "legal" position (passenger side windshield). Any help/ideas/experiences is greatly appreciated.

I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . Oh it will definitely be under the window line, and under the brace below the window. Like I said, I haven't put a tape measure to it yet, but I have looked at it and I know from when I was a kid that you can usually squeeze 3 cubes or so in there before displacements. DC lvl 2 8" in a T-line I'm all ears........

Has anyone done, or know of anyone who has done 150s with this setup, and without eating the steering wheel? Seats don't have to be all the way back, but don't want them all the way forward either. She is about my height (5'9).
