Im just curious because I may run my RF t1500bd at 2 ohm on one sub. It would actually be putting about 1200 rms at 14.4v. Can they handle that continuously? Thanks guys. Generally if you have to ask than you should stay closer to RMS... Quote lower tuning is just hard. But there are so many factors to consider at how much a driver can effectively take and handle thermally. I have played SAs on AQ2200s and they handled it very well. If you're going to do it, make sure electrical is stable, signal is clean, and enclosure is designed around the power you will be giving it and should be fine. Can anyone help me a box design for the 4 10's? I can build sealed boxes very well but I don't know how to calculate for ported boxes.
